Which pre-purchase inspection do you need?
We offer three pre-purchase inspections, and they do not do the same job. Rather than leave you to arbitrate alone between a list of services, answer three questions: how old the property is, what worries you, and where you are in the process. That is enough to single out the one that fits your situation.
How old is the property?
The age of the building changes what matters most.
What the recommendation rests on
None of the three is better than the others in the abstract: they answer different questions.
Building Inspection
You have doubts about the fabric itself — cracks, roof, damp, structure, joinery. This is the question of the shell, the one that costs the most to put right afterwards.
Systems Inspection
The fabric does not worry you, but you want to know whether the installations hold up: electrics, plumbing, ventilation, heating. Common on a recent or already renovated property.
Complete Inspection
Your doubts cover both, or you only get one visit before signing. Both parts in a single report, at a bundled price lower than the two inspections taken separately.
What happens next?
The recommendation commits you to nothing: it gives you a starting point. The quote is still free, and if your situation fits none of the three, tell us — we adapt.
